The four positive reviews below praise knowledgeable, responsive sales and support staff. The five negative reviews describe slow warranty claims, wiring and panel guards reported as left unfinished, a roof that started leaking after an inspection called it sound, poor service after installation and missed schedules. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Momentum who handles warranty claims after installation and how long they usually take.

How much does Momentum Solar cost?

Momentum’s older website linked to a page about Enphase, which makes inverters and batteries. Ask which panel, inverter and battery models your proposal uses. In July 2026 Momentum said its sales, installation and service crews are in-house. We have not rechecked that.

What does Momentum Solar’s warranty cover?

Momentum publishes no warranty terms on any page we could read: its older plans page names a “solar panel and workmanship warranty” without a term, and its current site blocks our access. Terms are provided in the contract. Your signed agreement decides what applies.

Where does Momentum Solar operate, and which licenses were checked?

Momentum’s website blocks our access, so we could not read its own service-area list. Its claimed Google Business listings, checked October 14, 2026, show offices in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida and Nevada. It also holds an active Texas electrical contractor license, and an archived coverage page from May 2025 lists Texas. Its Arizona license (ROC 327781, held by Pro Custom Solar LLC doing business as Momentum Solar) is suspended for non-renewal, so it cannot contract in Arizona today; we do not list Arizona. An office in a state does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Momentum there. Each state link opens our installer comparison for that state.

Licenses

On October 12, 2026 we searched the Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts registries by company name and found six active records, and on October 14, 2026 Texas showed an active electrical contractor license. Its Arizona license is suspended. We could not read Momentum’s website to confirm that it publishes these numbers. Check the license yourself under the exact business name on your contract; in New Jersey the electrical permit is held by Pro Custom Solar LLC, doing business as Momentum Solar.

Before choosing Momentum Solar

Ask for these in writing:

1. Look up the license under the exact name on your contract in your state’s registry.
2. Get the workmanship and roof-penetration terms in writing, with their length and what they cover.
3. Compare the cash price with the financed total, including the APR and all fees.
4. Ask for dated milestones: design, permits, installation, inspection and permission to operate.
5. Ask who owns the system and who you call when something stops working.

How we researched this profile

Momentum’s current website returned an access error (403) to our browser and research tools on October 9, 2026. We used older company pages only as leads, and we kept the founding year and crew statement from company material read on July 22, 2026. The license records come from the CT, NJ and MA registries, checked on October 12, 2026. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. Momentum did not review this page.
