Brooklyn SolarWorks does not publish a fixed system price; its cost page says the project price includes equipment, installation, permitting and its 30-year warranty package. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models and, if you finance, the financed total with APR and fees. If you consider the Flex Plan, ask for its one-time price and what happens at the end of the 10 years. Brooklyn SolarWorks says it uses equipment from suppliers such as REC, Qcells, JA, SMA and Enphase (home solar page). It builds tilt racks for historic districts and its own patented Brooklyn Solar Canopy, which raises panels about 9 feet above a flat roof. Its FAQ page says solar batteries are not yet allowed in New York City homes because FDNY permits cannot be obtained. Your written proposal should list the exact panel and inverter models, the racking type, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).

Where does Brooklyn SolarWorks operate, and which licenses were checked?

Brooklyn SolarWorks’s homepage says it serves New York City’s homes and businesses, and its site has pages for Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens (read October 13, 2026). It also works on condos, co-ops and new construction projects. Its claimed Google Business listing (checked October 14, 2026) says it serves New York City and has completed projects in all five boroughs. New York State lists BROOKLYN SOLARWORKS, LLC as an active domestic LLC, registered on February 3, 2015, at the 200 6th Street address (New York Department of State corporation data, checked October 14, 2026). A listed area does not mean every building qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Brooklyn SolarWorks there.

Brooklyn SolarWorks’s homepage lists NYSERDA Gold Quality Installer, NYC Accelerator Approved Service Provider, REC Certified Solar Professional, Amicus Solar Cooperative membership and BBB accreditation. Its why us page says several staff hold NABCEP certifications. These are company statements; we did not verify them.

2. The exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kW and the forecast yearly production in kWh.
3. The warranty documents for your payment plan: panels, inverter, labor and roof penetrations.
4. Your local service contact, and who handles utility approval and warranty claims.
5. The exact company on the contract, such as Brooklyn SolarWorks LLC, and its license for your state.

How we researched this profile

We read Brooklyn SolarWorks’s own pages on October 13, 2026: homepage, why us, warranty and production guarantee, FAQs, cost of solar, home solar, condos and co-ops, showroom and support. On October 14, 2026 the site answered our requests with a captcha, so we used its New York business record and its claimed Google Business listing instead. The license result is from a September 8, 2026 registry check. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. Brooklyn SolarWorks did not review this page.
