Is Synergy Home a good choice?

Synergy Home fits Central Kentucky homeowners who want one local company for solar, HVAC and electrical work. It says it has installed solar since 2014 and prints its Kentucky electrical contractor license on its site. Its pages publish no workmanship warranty and name no solar equipment brands, and the only payment plan listed is financing through Synchrony. Ask for warranty terms and exact models in writing before you sign.

Why choose Synergy Home, and why you might not

What Synergy does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.

Reasons to choose Synergy

  • It does heating, cooling and wiring tooSynergy is a heating and cooling (HVAC), electrical and solar company. You can use one local company for all three. Of the three alternatives below, Morton is also an electrical contractor.

  • It repairs and cleans solar systemsSynergy also offers solar repair, cleaning and upkeep. One good review praises next-day repair service.

  • Its Google score is the highest hereIts head-office Google listing shows 4.9 from 1,431 reviews. That is the highest score in the table below. Many of those reviews are about its other work, not solar.

  • It shows its license numberSynergy prints its Kentucky electrical contractor license on its site. You can check it with the state before you sign.

Reasons to look at others

  • It lists no warranty at allSynergy offers a “100% satisfaction guarantee” with no length or details. It lists no warranty on its own work or for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. ARP lists 15 years for both. Ask Synergy for its terms in writing.

  • It names no equipment brandsSynergy names no panel, inverter or battery brands. Solar Energy Solutions and Morton name theirs. Ask for the exact models in your written quote.

  • It lists only one way to payThe only plan listed is financing through Synchrony. It does not say if that covers a whole solar system. Ask about paying cash, and about the loan terms.

  • One review describes a system left offOne negative review describes paying to replace the parts that hold the panels, then finding the panels were never turned back on. Ask who checks your system is running after service work.

Synergy Home reviews: what customers say

Each review site shows its own score; we read them on October 12 and 13, 2026 and do not combine them or add our own rating.

  • Google4.9 / 51,431 reviews · Lexington, KY office listing only, not company-wideRead reviews

The three positive reviews below, which mention solar alongside other work, praise professional, helpful crews, next-day repair service and a smooth install. There was only one negative review among those we read: a customer reports paying over $1,600 to replace solar mounts, then finding the panels were never switched back on, with no return calls and a $150 fee offered to fix it. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Synergy who checks the system is running after service work.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (4 reviews read, back to Aug 28, 2026). We found no Trustpilot page for Synergy Home on October 12, 2026. Its Google listing is mainly for other trades, so we only used reviews that mention solar. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.

How much does Synergy Home cost?

Synergy Home does not publish a solar system price on the pages we reviewed. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models and, if you finance, the financed total with APR and fees. Synergy says “what we quote is what you pay,” so ask that the quote list everything included. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.

Financing through Synchrony

You own it

Monthly payment plans through Synchrony, subject to credit approval. Synergy says plans and terms vary; ask for the current terms.

Plans as listed on Synergy’s solar and HVAC financing page, read October 13, 2026. No lease or PPA is listed.

Synergy does not name panel, inverter or battery brands on its solar pages; it says it installs batteries “from established manufacturers.” Its batteries and inverters page describes string inverters, microinverters and optimizers without saying which it uses. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh). Synergy also offers solar repair, cleaning and maintenance.

Synergy has no solar warranty page. We read its solar page and solar installation page on October 13, 2026. Your signed agreement decides what applies.

Synergy says it backs its work with a “100% satisfaction guarantee” but gives no term or scope, so we do not count it as workmanship coverage.

Where does Synergy Home operate, and which licenses were checked?

Synergy’s service area page lists Lexington and nearby Central Kentucky towns: Berea, Frankfort, Georgetown, Irvine, Midway, Nicholasville, Paris, Richmond, Sadieville, Versailles, Wilmore and Winchester, plus East Mount Sterling and South Danville (read October 13, 2026). The list covers all its services, not solar alone. A listed town does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Synergy there.

Licenses

We found 3 active license records in state registries (October 13, 2026). Check the license yourself under the exact business name on your contract. A license check confirms registration, not workmanship quality.

Synergy’s solar page says its technicians are licensed, insured and IREC-accredited. This is a company statement; we did not verify it.

How we researched this profile

We read Synergy Home’s own pages on October 13, 2026: homepage, about, solar, solar installation, batteries and inverters, financing, service areas, contact and two solar blog posts. We did not check its licenses in a state registry. On October 14, 2026 we also checked the Kentucky business registry, which lists the principal office at 1064 Industry Rd, Ste. 130, and its Google Business listing. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. Synergy Home did not review this page.

Our installer methodology explains what we check.
