Why choose Sunshine Renewable Solutions, and why you might not
What Sunshine Renewable does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.
Reasons to choose Sunshine Renewable
It also repairs and looks after systemsSunshine Renewable offers repairs and upkeep on solar systems, not only new installs. Ask if it services systems another company put in.
It builds large business systems tooSunshine Renewable says it started in 2017 and builds large commercial systems as well as home systems. It prints its Texas license numbers on its site.
Owners praise its design and pricesIts head-office Google listing shows 4.8 from 167 reviews. Owners praise good design, fair prices and easy communication. Its site shows Tesla Powerwall and Sol-Ark partner logos.
Reasons to look at others
It lists no warranty at allSunshine Renewable publishes no warranty on the panels, on its own work, or for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. Longhorn and Freedom Power list 25 years on their own work. Get every warranty in writing.
It does not say how you can payIts site lists no way to pay for a home system. Its financing link now opens a page for businesses. Ask which plans it offers and who would own the panels.
It names no panel or inverter brandsSunshine Renewable says many of its products come from US makers, but names no panel or inverter brand. Ask for the exact models in your written quote.
Some reviews describe long waits for serviceIts negative reviews describe service waits of five weeks or more and repair bills for parts one owner says were under warranty. Ask what its warranty covers for repair visits.

The five positive reviews below praise good design, fair pricing and easy communication, though one notes lost monitoring after an internet switch and a 250 dollar fix. The five negative reviews describe service waits of five weeks or more, microinverter repairs quoted despite a warranty the reviewer says was promised, unclear tax-credit claims and late access to monitoring. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Sunshine what its warranty covers for labor and service visits.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (167 reviews read, back to Oct 31, 2017). We found no Trustpilot page for Sunshine Renewable Solutions on October 12, 2026. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.
How much does Sunshine Renewable Solutions cost?
Sunshine Renewable Solutions does not publish a system price on its residential page. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models and, if you finance, the financed total with APR and fees. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.

Sunshine Renewable does not name panel or inverter brands on its products page; it says it sources many products from US manufacturers. Its site footer shows Tesla Powerwall certified installer and Sol-Ark partner logos. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh). Where does Sunshine Renewable Solutions operate, and which licenses were checked?
Sunshine Renewable’s service areas page lists Texas towns such as Elgin, Luling, Smithville, Giddings, Decatur and Glen Rose, and its residential page names local offices in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Amarillo and El Paso besides Houston (read October 13, 2026). How we researched this profile
We read Sunshine Renewable Solutions’ own pages on October 13, 2026: homepage, about, residential solar, service areas, products and FAQ. On October 14, 2026 its site showed a bot check, so we read no new company pages; we looked up its Google Business listings. We did not check its licenses in a state registry. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. Sunshine Renewable Solutions did not review this page.
Our installer methodology explains what we check.
