SunnyMac fits Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania homeowners who want solar and a new roof from one company. Its FAQ lists a 25-year workmanship warranty, and its homepage says a roof installed with the system falls under the same 25-year warranty. It offers cash, loan, lease and PPA plans. Ask whether leaks at panel mounts are covered if you keep your existing roof.

SunnyMac’s FAQ says it uses SolarEdge inverters on most systems, and its battery page names SolarEdge, Enphase and FranklinWH batteries. It does not name a panel brand on the pages we read. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
