Is Solaria Solar & Roofing a good choice?

Solaria Solar & Roofing fits Florida homeowners who want solar and a new roof from one licensed contractor. It prints Florida electrical and roofing contractor licenses on its site and lists towns from Central Florida to the Panhandle. Its residential page cites 25-year maker warranties and a 30-year parts and labor warranty through SolarInsure. Its pages still describe a federal tax credit for buyers, so check your quote does not count one.

Why choose Solaria Solar & Roofing, and why you might not

What Solaria does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.

Reasons to choose Solaria

  • It does your roof tooSolaria puts in solar and new roofs in shingle, metal or tile. It offers loans that cover solar and a roof together. Semper Solaris and WindMar also do roofing.

  • It offers a 30-year warranty on its workIt offers a 30-year warranty on parts and its own work through SolarInsure. The warranty moves to a new owner if you sell. Ask if it is included in your price.

  • It covers much of FloridaIts site lists towns from Orlando and Tampa to Tallahassee and Pensacola. It prints its Florida license numbers on its site.

  • Owners praise kind, on-time staffIts head-office Google listing shows 4.8 from 900 reviews. Good reviews praise kind, professional staff and work done on time.

Reasons to look at others

  • No roof leak warranty listedIt lists no warranty for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. One negative review describes a leak the first time it rained after the install. Ask for a leak warranty in writing.

  • It names no equipment brandsSolaria names no panel, inverter or battery brand. It names only its shingle brands. Ask for the exact models in your written quote.

  • You can only buy or borrowIt lists buying and a loan with no money down, but names no lender. It lists no rent or PPA plan. Ask who the lender is and for the loan terms.

  • Ask about deposits and pushy salesNegative reviews describe a deposit not refunded after canceling and pushy door-to-door sales. Its pages describe a federal tax credit; ask if your quote counts on one. Get its cancel and refund terms in writing.

Solaria Solar & Roofing reviews: what customers say

Each review site shows its own score; we read them on October 12 and 13, 2026 and do not combine them or add our own rating.

  • Google4.8 / 5900 reviews · Orlando, FL office listing only, not company-wideRead reviews

The five positive reviews below praise kind, professional staff, timely work and a setup with no upfront cost. The five negative reviews describe a deposit not refunded after cancellation despite what the reviewer says the sales rep promised, a roof that leaked the first time it rained after install, savings the owner says only cover the panel payments, and pushy door-to-door sales. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Solaria what its cancellation and deposit refund terms are in writing.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (200 reviews read, back to Oct 31, 2025). We found no Trustpilot page for Solaria Solar & Roofing on October 12, 2026. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.

How much does Solaria Solar & Roofing cost?

Solaria does not publish a system price; it offers a free estimate and says it charges no upfront fees (residential page). Ask for an itemized quote with the cash price, system size, equipment models and, for a loan, the lender, APR, fees and financed total. Its residential and battery pages still say buyers can file for the federal solar tax credit; the residential credit ended for systems placed in service after December 31, 2025, so ask that no federal residential credit be counted in your quote. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.

How we researched this profile

We read Solaria Solar & Roofing’s own pages on October 13, 2026: homepage, residential solar, solar battery and financing. On October 14, 2026 its site showed a captcha, so we could not reread it; its claimed Google Business listing confirms the Orlando address and website. We found no Google listing for its Puerto Rico office, and the Florida Sunbiz search blocked our access. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. Solaria did not review this page.

Our installer methodology explains what we check.
