The five positive reviews below are short and praise thorough, responsive help during planning and installation. The five negative reviews describe three and a half months to remove panels for a roof leak, a $6,000 monitoring charge one reviewer says was already in the contract, skylights and blinds that stopped opening after installation, panels that stopped reporting and a mailer styled like a legal notice. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Solar Solution how quickly it removes panels for roof repairs.

How much does Solar Solution cost?

Solar Solution does not publish a system price on the pages we reviewed; it says its sales staff explain every cost and output figure. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models, expected SREC income and, if you finance, the lender, APR, fees and financed total. For a PPA, ask for the full agreement, including what happens at the end of the 20-year term. Solar Solution’s residential page says it installs Tier 1 panels and Enphase microinverters but does not name a panel brand. Its battery page names Enphase IQ batteries. It also installs EV chargers. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).

Where does Solar Solution operate, and which licenses were checked?

Solar Solution’s DC page says it serves every neighborhood in the District, and its Maryland page says it installs for homes and businesses within and around the Capital Beltway. Its Virginia page says it does commercial work only in Northern Virginia (read October 13, 2026). Its headquarters announcement (read October 14, 2026) says it has a warehouse in Beltsville, Maryland and a new headquarters at 3031 8th St NE in Brookland, DC, the address on its active DC license. A listed area does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Solar Solution there.

1. An itemized quote with the cash price and the financed total, including the APR and all fees.
2. The exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kW and the forecast yearly production in kWh.
3. The warranty documents for your payment plan: panels, inverter, labor and roof penetrations.
4. Your local service contact, and who handles utility approval and warranty claims.
5. The exact company on the contract, such as Solar Solution DC, and its license for your state.
