Sol-Up Review

Solar, battery, HVAC and windows contractorBased in Las Vegas, NevadaProfile updated October 15, 2026

Is Sol-Up a good choice?

Sol-Up fits Las Vegas and Reno homeowners who want solar, Tesla batteries, HVAC or windows from one local company. It says it has installed since 2009, says it is a Tesla Powerwall certified installer, and its warranty page says it extends SolarEdge inverter coverage to 25 years. Its site blocked our direct reads, and no page we saw states its own workmanship term. Get that term, and the lender for its $0-down loans, in writing.

Why choose Sol-Up, and why you might not

What Sol-Up does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.

Reasons to choose Sol-Up

  • It names its equipment brandsSol-Up names Meyer Burger as its main panel brand. It names SolarEdge, Tesla and Enphase inverters and several battery brands. Baker names only battery brands, and we could not confirm Momentum’s.

  • It extends one inverter warrantySol-Up says it extends the SolarEdge inverter warranty to 25 years. The inverter is the box that turns solar power into home power. Ask for this in writing.

  • Its licenses were active in both statesWe found its Nevada and California licenses active on October 13, 2026. You can check them with each state before you sign.

  • It also does cooling and windowsSol-Up puts in solar, Tesla batteries, heating and cooling, and windows. Its head-office Google listing shows 4.8 from 2,325 reviews. Owners praise quick visits to replace batteries and inverters.

Reasons to look at others

  • We found no warranty on its own workNo page we saw lists a warranty on Sol-Up’s own work or for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. We could not read its live site. Get both in writing before you sign.

  • It does not name its lendersSol-Up offers loans with no money down and terms up to 25 years. It does not name its lenders, and it lists no way to rent. Ask who you will pay, and for the full loan terms.

  • Some owners waited months for fixesIts negative reviews describe install delays and no-show technicians. One paid system was not running after two months. Another sat down for months before an inverter was replaced. Ask how fast Sol-Up fixes problems.

  • Some owners heard less after signingOther negative reviews describe weaker contact after signing and less power than expected. Ask who your contact is after you sign, and get the expected yearly power in writing.

Sol-Up reviews: what customers say

Each review site shows its own score; we read them on October 12 and 13, 2026 and do not combine them or add our own rating.

  • Google4.8 / 52,325 reviews · Las Vegas, NV office listing only, not company-wideRead reviews

The five positive reviews below praise quick, friendly service visits for battery and inverter replacements and clear installer walk-throughs. The five negative reviews describe installation delays and technician no-shows, a paid system still not running after two months with a reported application error, weaker communication after signing, lower production than expected, and panels down for months before an inverter was replaced. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Sol-Up who monitors your system for faults and how quickly it schedules repairs.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (200 reviews read, back to Mar 20, 2026). We found no Trustpilot page for Sol-Up on October 12, 2026. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.

How much does Sol-Up cost?

Sol-Up does not publish a system price on the pages we reviewed; it offers a free estimate and a solar savings tool. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models and, if you finance, the lender, APR, fees and financed total. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.

$0 down on approved credit with terms up to 25 years. Sol-Up says it has lenders for almost every credit profile but does not name them.

Plans as listed on Sol-Up’s homepage (Wayback Machine copy of October 8, 2026, read October 13, 2026). No lease or PPA is listed.

Sol-Up’s homepage names Meyer Burger as its preferred panel and SolarEdge, Tesla and Enphase inverters, and says it uses heterojunction panels on almost all homes. Its warranty page also lists JA Solar and Sirius PV panels, APsystems inverters, Sol-Ark, Renon, SolarEdge and Tesla batteries, and IronRidge racking. Your written proposal should list the exact models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).

Where does Sol-Up operate, and which licenses were checked?

Sol-Up’s homepage lists locations in Las Vegas, Reno, California and Lake Las Vegas, and names Las Vegas valley communities from Henderson and Summerlin to Boulder City and North Las Vegas (Wayback Machine copy of October 8, 2026). Its licensing page lists California offices in Fallbrook, Encino and Upland. Earlier 2026 copies also named Idaho and Florida. Its Idaho page gave only a phone number (208-820-2700) and no address; Idaho lists Sol-Up as an active assumed business name with a Las Vegas mailing address, so it has no Idaho office we could find. Its Florida page was a Tampa form with no address or phone, and we found no Florida company, so we do not list Florida. A listed area does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Sol-Up there.

Licenses

We found 3 active license records in state registries (October 13, 2026). Check the license yourself under the exact business name on your contract. A license check confirms registration, not workmanship quality.

How we researched this profile

Sol-Up’s site blocked our direct requests on October 13, 2026, so we read Wayback Machine copies of its own pages: homepage (captured October 8, 2026), warranty page (February 6, 2026), licensing page (February 20, 2026) and its warranty summary PDF. We also checked its Google Business listings for Las Vegas and Reno on October 14, 2026. License results come from Nevada and California registry checks dated October 13, 2026. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. Sol-Up did not review this page.
