Is Robco Electric a good choice?

Why choose Robco Electric, and why you might not

What Robco does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.

Reasons to choose Robco

  • It has done electrical work since 1997Robco says it started in 1997 as an electrical contractor. It prints its Nevada license number on its site. Check it with the state before you sign.

  • Its inverters carry 25 years of coverRobco says it is an Enphase Platinum Installer. It says its Enphase inverters, the small boxes that turn solar power into home power, have 25 years of parts and labor cover.

  • Its Google score is the highest hereIts head-office Google listing shows 4.9 from 251 reviews. Owners praise knowledgeable consultants, guards that keep animals out from under the panels, and quick help with a repair.

Reasons to look at others

  • It lists no warranty on its own workRobco publishes no warranty on its own work and none for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. Sol-Up publishes none either. Get both terms in writing.

  • It does not name its lender or panelsRobco offers financing for good credit but names no lender or terms. It names no panel brand. Ask for the lender, the loan terms and the panel model in writing.

  • Most systems come without a batteryRobco says most of its systems do not include a battery. If you want backup power, ask for a quote with one.

  • Some reviews describe damage and delaysIts negative reviews describe a broken panel next door with no follow-up, and a two-day job that took nine days with trash left behind. Ask who handles damage claims during the install.

Robco Electric reviews: what customers say

The five positive reviews below praise knowledgeable consultants, good pricing, details such as critter guards and attic conduit, and quick help arranging a microinverter repair. The three negative reviews describe a neighbor’s panel the reviewer says a dropped drill bit broke, with no follow-up after three months, a two-day job that took nine days with trash and electrical box damage left behind, and disappointing workmanship. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Robco who handles damage claims during installation.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (200 reviews read, back to Apr 6, 2020). We found no Trustpilot page for Robco Electric on October 12, 2026. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.

How much does Robco Electric cost?

Robco does not publish a system price; it offers a free, no-obligation quote (quote page). Ask for an itemized quote with the cash price, system size, panel and inverter models and, for a loan, the lender, APR, fees and financed total. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.

Where does Robco Electric operate, and which licenses were checked?

Robco’s homepage calls it a Las Vegas solar company and says it aims to serve Southern Nevada (read October 13, 2026). It lists no cities or counties beyond Las Vegas. A listed area does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Robco there.

Licenses

We found 1 active license record in state registries (October 13, 2026). Robco publishes license numbers for Nevada that we have not checked in the registry yet.
