ProSolar Systems Puerto Rico Review

Solar, battery and solar water heater installerBased in Carolina, Puerto RicoProfile updated October 14, 2026

Is ProSolar Systems Puerto Rico a good choice?

ProSolar Systems Puerto Rico fits Puerto Rico homeowners who want solar with battery backup for outages. It says it is a certified Tesla Powerwall installer, also offers Enphase batteries, and has more than a decade of work across the Caribbean and Florida. Its site advertises a 25-year warranty on residential systems but does not say whether that covers labor or roof penetrations, so get those terms in writing.

Why choose ProSolar Systems Puerto Rico, and why you might not

What ProSolar does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.

Reasons to choose ProSolar

  • It is built around backup for outagesProSolar sells solar with a battery that keeps power on when the grid goes down. It names Tesla Powerwall and Enphase batteries, and says it is a certified Powerwall installer.

  • Its hardware is made for salt airProSolar says it uses aluminum and stainless steel parts that resist rust near the sea. Ask which mounting parts your system will use.

  • Its Google score is the highest hereIts head-office Google listing shows 4.9 from 393 reviews. That is the highest score in the table below. Owners praise helpful advisers, a fast install and quick answers.

  • It also puts in solar water heatersBesides solar power and batteries, ProSolar puts in solar water heaters. You can ask for both in one quote.

Reasons to look at others

  • Its 25-year warranty is unclearProSolar advertises a 25-year warranty on home systems. It does not say if that covers its own work or leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. WindMar lists 10 years on its own work if you buy. Ask ProSolar in writing.

  • It does not name its lendersProSolar says partner banks can pay for the whole system. It names none and lists no rent or PPA plan. Ask who the lender is and for the full loan terms.

  • It does not print its license numberProSolar prints no Puerto Rico license number. Ask for the license of the electrician who signs off on your install.

  • Its support may not be round the clockOne positive review says a late-evening call was returned the next morning, not right away as advertised. Ask what hours its support line is open.

The five positive reviews below praise professional energy consultants and salespeople, a fast installation with no problems, and quick answers; one says a late-evening call was returned the next morning, though not around the clock as advertised. There were no negative reviews among the reviews we read. Positive reviews alone do not show how a company handles problems. Ask ProSolar who handles service calls after installation and what hours its support line is staffed.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (200 reviews read, back to May 27, 2026). We found no Trustpilot page for ProSolar Systems Puerto Rico on October 12, 2026. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.

How we researched this profile

We read ProSolar’s own pages, in Spanish, on October 13, 2026: homepage, about, residential solar, Tesla Powerwall and financing. On October 14, 2026 its site answered with a bot check, so we checked its claimed Google Business listing instead. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. ProSolar did not review this page.

Our installer methodology explains what we check.
