SunVena Solar Review
Solar, battery and solar roof installerBased in Sanford, FloridaProfile updated October 14, 2026
Is SunVena Solar a good choice?
SunVena fits Florida homeowners who want one published warranty package covering most of the system. Its guarantee page lists 25 years for labor, panels, inverters and roof penetrations, plus a 25-year production guarantee paid in cash. It says it uses no subcontractors and prints three Florida license numbers. Its own battery page says the 25-year guarantee is not a battery warranty, so get the battery maker’s terms in writing.

Why choose SunVena Solar, and why you might not
What SunVena does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.
Reasons to choose SunVena
Its warranty is long and covers most partsSunVena lists 25 years on its own work, the panels, the inverters, and leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. Freedom Power lists 25 years on its work and 10 for leaks. ESD and Goldin list neither.
It pays you if power falls shortSunVena says that for 25 years, if the system makes less power than promised, it pays you the difference in cash. Ask how it measures this, in writing.
It does solar roofs tooSunVena puts in the Tesla Solar Roof and solar pergolas, as well as panels. It names REC, Qcells, Silfab and Tesla panels. Of the three alternatives below, ESD also does roof work.
Its Google score is the highest hereIts head-office Google listing shows 4.9 from 2,062 reviews, the highest score in the table below. It says it uses no outside crews. Owners praise clear explanations and a smooth install.
Reasons to look at others
Batteries are not in its 25-year warrantySunVena’s battery page says the 25-year warranty does not cover batteries. Only the maker covers them: 10 years for Tesla Powerwall and 15 for the Enphase battery it names. Get the battery terms in writing.
It does not name its lendersSunVena does not name its lenders or the company behind its rent plan. It says you can buy out a rented system after 5 years. Ask who you will pay, and who owns the panels.
Some owners waited for repairsIts negative reviews describe poor contact after the sale and a panel problem unfixed after a month. One owner reported a wait of up to ten business days for a technician. Ask how soon someone comes out.
Its licenses were checked in SeptemberIts Florida licenses were active when we checked on September 8, 2026. We did not recheck them in October. Check the three numbers it prints before you sign.

The five positive reviews below praise clear explanations, friendly staff, a smooth install and an easy app. The five negative reviews describe poor contact after the sale, a panel problem unfixed after a month, water damage one owner blames on a faulty panel, and wiring one owner says tripped ten breakers, with a technician wait of up to ten business days. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Sunvena how soon a technician comes after you report a problem.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (200 reviews read, back to May 25, 2026). We found no Trustpilot page for SunVena Solar on October 12, 2026. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.
How much does SunVena Solar cost?
SunVena does not publish a system price on the pages we reviewed; it offers a free consultation and quote. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models, the guaranteed yearly production in kWh and, if you finance, the lender, APR, fees and financed total. For a lease, ask for the monthly payment, any escalator and the buyout terms. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.

SunVena’s FAQ says it installs panels from REC, Qcells, Silfab and Tesla, and that it is a certified REC, Enphase and Tesla installer. Its battery page covers Tesla Powerwall and Enphase batteries, and it also installs Tesla Solar Roof and solar pergolas. Your written proposal should list the exact models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
What does SunVena Solar’s warranty cover?
Coverage | What SunVena publishes | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
Solar panels | 25 years (SunVena fixes or replaces defective panels) | Whether SunVena or the panel maker holds the warranty after a claim. |
Panel output | 25-year power production guarantee; SunVena pays the shortfall in cash | The guaranteed kWh figure and how shortfalls are measured. |
Inverter | 25 years | The inverter model and that labor to replace it is covered. |
Battery | Maker’s warranty, not part of the 25-year guarantee. SunVena’s battery guide gives Tesla Powerwall 10 years with capacity retention, and Enphase IQ Battery 5P 15 years or 6,000 cycles | Confirm in your proposal: the battery model, its maker’s term and who pays labor on a battery claim. |
Labor and workmanship | 25 years | What the labor guarantee excludes. |
Roof penetrations | 25 years: leaks where the system touches the roof are repaired free | That the roof penetration warranty is written into your contract. |
Company-published terms from SunVena’s guarantee page and battery page, read October 13, 2026, and its battery lifespan guide (updated August 2026), read October 14, 2026. Your signed agreement decides what applies.
SunVena’s financing FAQ says the 25-year warranty applies whether you pay cash, finance or lease.
Where does SunVena Solar operate, and which licenses were checked?
SunVena’s homepage says it installs across the entire state of Florida from its Sanford headquarters and local branches, and lists cities from Pensacola and Tallahassee to Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Naples and Miami (read October 13, 2026). A listed city does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with SunVena there.

Licenses
We found 3 active license records in state registries (September 8, 2026). Check the license yourself under the exact business name on your contract. A license check confirms registration, not workmanship quality.
EcoGen Verified Installer, September 2026SunVena Solar passed our three checks on that date: an active license in a state registry, published in-state service, and a workmanship warranty that covers roof penetrations. What the badge means

SunVena Solar compared with three other installers
All eight alternatives share Florida, SunVena’s only state. We chose ESD, which also does roofing, Freedom Power, which also lists a 25-year warranty on its work, and Goldin, which also names its panel brands. Every fact comes from the company profiles linked below.

How we researched this profile
We read SunVena’s own pages on October 13, 2026: homepage, solar guarantee, solar panel installation, solar financing, battery backup, Tesla installer and FAQ. On October 14, 2026 we read its contact page, Georgia dealer page, battery lifespan guide and two leasing articles. The Florida license results are from registry checks on September 8, 2026. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. SunVena did not review this page.
Our installer methodology explains what we check.
