Is Sun City Solar Energy a good choice?
Sun City Solar Energy fits Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southern Missouri homeowners who want a long-running regional installer that also repairs older systems. Its regional pages say “expert installations since 1983”. Its warranty page lists only a 2-year labor warranty, with panels and inverters left to their makers, and its site lists no payment plans. Its contact page gives an Arkansas contractor license number and still cites a 30% federal tax credit that has ended for home systems. Its older companies closed in December 2025: the Oklahoma company was dissolved and its Arkansas registration withdrawn. The business now runs as Solar Service, LLC, an Arkansas company with the trade name Sun City Solar Service at the same Fayetteville address, so check that name on your contract. Get labor terms past year 2 and payment plans in writing.

Sun City does not name the panel, inverter or battery brands it installs on the pages we read; its regional pages say it uses equipment “from respected manufacturers.” It offers grid-tied systems and off-grid systems with battery backup (homepage). Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
