Powerbill Solutions Review

Solar, geothermal and solar water heating installerBased in Tallahassee, FloridaProfile updated October 13, 2026

Is Powerbill Solutions a good choice?

Powerbill Solutions fits North Florida and South Georgia homeowners who want solar alongside geothermal heating and cooling, or who prefer to lease. It prints two Florida contractor license numbers and leases equipment it owns itself. Its pages are dated: they still cite a 26% federal credit, which no longer applies to home systems, and they publish no warranty terms. Ask for current warranty, lease and loan terms in writing.

Why choose Powerbill Solutions, and why you might not

What Powerbill does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.

Reasons to choose Powerbill

  • It rents you panels it owns itselfPowerbill owns the panels it rents out, so you deal with one company. It says you pay nothing upfront and a fixed monthly rate. It says the rental can move with you within Florida.

  • Its Florida licenses are activePowerbill holds a Florida solar contractor license and a building contractor license. Both were active when we checked on October 13, 2026.

  • It also does geothermal heating and coolingPowerbill puts in geothermal systems that heat and cool your home, as well as solar. It says it uses only US-made products. It can mount panels on a roof, on the ground or on a pond.

Reasons to look at others

  • It lists no warranty at allPowerbill publishes no warranty on the panels, on its own work, or for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. Palmetto lists 10 years on its work. Get every warranty in writing before you sign.

  • It names no equipment brandsPowerbill names no panel, inverter or battery brand. A1A names REC, Enphase and Tesla. Ask for the exact models in your written quote.

  • Its pages look out of dateIts pages still describe a federal tax credit that no longer applies to home systems. It names no lender and gives no rental length or buyout price. Ask for current loan and rental terms in writing.

  • It shows few reviews and no Georgia licenseIts Google listing shows 5 from only 8 reviews, most from 2020 to 2023. It prints no Georgia license. In Georgia, ask for the license number before you sign.

Powerbill Solutions reviews: what customers say

Each review site shows its own score; we read them on October 12 and 13, 2026 and do not combine them or add our own rating.

The five positive reviews below, four of them from 2020 to 2023, praise knowledgeable, courteous staff, an on-site assessment, steady communication, prices below other quotes, and a battery backup one reviewer says keeps power on during outages; one review is about a water heater, not solar. There were no negative reviews among those we read. Positive reviews alone do not show how a company handles problems. Ask Powerbill Solutions who handles service calls after installation.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (8 reviews read, back to Apr 29, 2019). We found no Trustpilot page for Powerbill Solutions on October 12, 2026. Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.

How much does Powerbill Solutions cost?

Powerbill Solutions does not publish a system price; its solar page offers a free in-home estimate. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models and, for a loan or lease, the monthly payment, term, any rate change and total payments. Its pages still cite older federal credits that no longer apply to home systems; ignore those in any savings estimate. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.
