Is Impact Solar a good choice?
Impact Solar fits New Jersey homeowners, mainly in South and Central Jersey, who want a small local installer that stays on the job. It says it has installed solar in New Jersey for 11+ years, and its FAQ lists a 25-year workmanship warranty and a 10-year production guarantee. It prints its license numbers, but its electrical permit number has one more digit than the state registry shows. Ask for the leak warranty term in writing.

Impact Solar does not publish a system price; its residential page says the proposal lists panel and inverter models, system size, projected production, expected SREC-II earnings and every payment path. Ask for that itemized quote with the cash price and, for a loan, lease or PPA, the lender or provider, rate, escalator and total payments. Impact Solar says it uses “U.S.-made equipment” but names no panel, inverter or battery brand on the pages we read. Its residential page says the proposal lists the panel and inverter models. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).

Impact Solar’s homepage lists 18 New Jersey counties it serves: Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset and Union, with town pages for places such as Haddonfield, Princeton, Edison and Toms River (read October 13, 2026). A listed county does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Impact Solar there.
