Eagle Point Solar fits homeowners and farms in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin who want an established regional installer with named loan partners. The five negative reviews describe a battery system idle for over a month with missed visits, wiring errors and damaged furnace boards, a high quote without a breakdown, bills that stayed high on a financed system, and a ten-month install with a torn-up yard. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Eagle Point who handles service after installation.

Eagle Point does not say which panels or inverters go on a typical home. Its partners page shows logos for panel makers such as JA Solar, Axitec and VSUN, inverter makers such as Enphase, SolarEdge, SMA, Fronius, Hoymiles and APsystems, and battery makers such as Tesla Powerwall, FranklinWH and LG Energy Solution. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh). It sells optional monitoring, inspection and cleaning agreements.

Where does Eagle Point Solar operate, and which licenses were checked?

Eagle Point’s homepage says it serves Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin, and its contact page lists offices in Dubuque, Cedar Rapids and Des Moines (read October 13, 2026). It lists no counties. A listed state does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Eagle Point there.

Eagle Point’s licenses and certifications page says its staff hold NABCEP PV installation, PV design, PV associate and energy storage certifications, plus Tesla Powerwall and LG Chem installer certifications. Its history page says Solar Power World listed it as a top solar contractor in several years. These are company statements; we did not verify them.
