Solar, battery and roofing installerBased in St. Paul, MinnesotaProfile updated October 14, 2026
Is All Energy Solar a good choice?
All Energy Solar fits homeowners in Minnesota and five nearby states who want an established local installer with several ways to pay. It says it was founded in 2009 by two brothers and that it does residential work in IA, IL, MA, MN, NH and WI. It offers its own prepaid lease plus partner leases in some states. It publishes no warranty terms or license numbers, so get both in writing before you sign.

Why choose All Energy Solar, and why you might not
What All Energy does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.
Reasons to choose All Energy
It does your roof tooAll Energy puts in solar, batteries and roofing. Wolf River and Eagle Point, two of the alternatives below, do not list roofing.
It has many ways to payYou can buy, take a loan, or pay your panel rent upfront with its EnergyLock plan. In Illinois, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, you can also rent the panels or take a PPA (you pay for the power; the company owns the panels).
Many owners have reviewed itIts head-office Google listing shows 4.8 from 1,356 reviews. That is more reviews than any other company in the table below. Its good reviews praise neat install crews and clear help with permits.
Its licenses checked out in four statesWe found its licenses active in Minnesota, Iowa, Massachusetts and New Hampshire on October 13, 2026. We could not confirm Illinois or Wisconsin. If you live there, ask for its license number.
Reasons to look at others
Its warranty on its own work has no lengthAll Energy mentions a guarantee on its own work but publishes no length. Wolf River lists 25 years, and Rectify lists 10. Ask for every warranty term in writing before you sign.
No set warranty for roof leaksIt publishes no warranty for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. Wolf River lists 25 years. Ask who fixes a leak there, who pays, and for how long.
It does not name a standard panelIt names Enphase and SolarEdge inverters (the box that turns solar power into home power) and Tesla and Enphase batteries. It does not say which panels it uses. Ask for the exact models in your quote.
Some installs ran very lateIts negative reviews describe a 90-day install that took 349 days, and weeks with no replies. Ask what happens if the install runs past the date in your contract.
All Energy Solar reviews: what customers say
Each review site shows its own score; we read them on October 12 and 13, 2026 and do not combine them or add our own rating.

The five positive reviews below praise professional install crews, clear permitting, a year of trouble-free output and a free repeat service visit for a recurring fuse problem. The five negative reviews describe a 90-day install that took 349 days, a late change order, weeks without replies, monitoring hardware reported as never installed, a $21,000 panel removal quote and one complaint about a driver. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask All Energy Solar what happens if installation runs past the contract date.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (202 reviews read, back to Jun 23, 2025). Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.
How much does All Energy Solar cost?
All Energy Solar does not publish a system price on the pages we reviewed. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models and, if you finance or lease, the full payment schedule with APR, fees and any buyout price. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.

All Energy does not list the panel brands it installs as standard. Its support page names Enphase and SolarEdge inverters and monitoring, Tesla Powerwall and Enphase batteries, and Locus and eGauge monitoring. Its site also advertises a limited-time upgrade to REC panels. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
What does All Energy Solar’s warranty cover?

Panel output | Not published | Confirm in your proposal: the output guarantee and its term. |
Inverter | Not published | Confirm in your proposal: the inverter model, its maker’s term and who pays labor to replace it. |

All Energy has no solar warranty page. We read its cash purchase page, residential solar page and maintenance and support page on October 13, 2026. Your signed agreement decides what applies.
The support page says that after a roof replacement near its St. Paul office, it gives a new one-year workmanship warranty on the reinstalled panels or keeps your current warranty if it applies.
Where does All Energy Solar operate, and which licenses were checked?
All Energy’s service area page and company page say it does residential solar in Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Wisconsin, and commercial solar in all 50 states (read October 13, 2026). The service area page also lists South Dakota, Nebraska and North Dakota without saying they get residential work. The Minnesota Secretary of State lists All Energy Solar Inc. as a Wisconsin corporation registered in Minnesota on March 16, 2010, active and in good standing, with its registered office at 1264 Energy Lane, St. Paul (state record, checked October 14, 2026). Its claimed Google Business listing gives the same St. Paul address. A listed state does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with All Energy there.

How we researched this profile
We read All Energy Solar’s own pages on October 13, 2026: homepage, company, service areas, contact, residential solar, financing (cash, loans, prepaid lease and traditional lease), maintenance and support, FAQs and awards. On October 14, 2026 its site answered with a bot check, so we used its Minnesota Secretary of State record and its claimed Google Business listing instead. The MN, IA, MA and NH license results are from registry checks on October 13, 2026. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. All Energy Solar did not review this page.
Our installer methodology explains what we check.
