Creative Solar USA Review
Solar and battery installerBased in Kennesaw, GeorgiaProfile updated October 14, 2026
Is Creative Solar USA a good choice?
Creative Solar USA fits Georgia-area homeowners who plan to pay cash and want a company that uses its own crews. It says its founder began installing solar in 2008 and that it does not use subcontractors. It publishes a 5-year workmanship warranty and names the equipment brands it installs. It does not offer residential financing, so plan for a cash purchase. Ask for its contractor license number, which the site does not list.

Why choose Creative Solar USA, and why you might not
What Creative Solar does well, and where to be careful, compared with the installers it competes with most.
Reasons to choose Creative Solar
Its own crews do the workCreative Solar says it does not use subcontractors. It says its founder began putting in solar in 2008.
It names many battery brandsIt names the batteries it puts in: Tesla Powerwall, Enphase, FranklinWH, HomeGrid, Sol-Ark and Pytes. None of the three alternatives below names this many. You can look them up before a sales visit.
It lists each battery’s warrantyIts battery page lists each maker’s warranty: 10 years for the Tesla Powerwall, 15 for Enphase and 12 for FranklinWH. Ask which battery your quote uses.
Reasons to look at others
You must pay in full yourselfCreative Solar says home projects are cash only. It does not offer or set up loans, though you can get your own. ESD and Palmetto both list loans and renting the panels.
Its warranty on its own work is 5 yearsCreative Solar covers its own work for 5 years. Palmetto lists 10. It lists no warranty for leaks where the panels are bolted to the roof. Ask for both in writing.
It shows no license numberIt publishes no contractor license number for any of its four states. We found no North Carolina record on October 13, 2026. Ask for each number and check it with the state.
Some owners waited months to get installedIts negative reviews describe three customers who paid and then waited months or years for the install. One describes a water line punctured during the work. Ask for a written install date.

The five positive reviews below praise careful electrical work, good communication, coordination with a roofer, and a school system one reviewer says has run well for five years. The five negative reviews describe three customers who report paying and then waiting months or years for installation, a water line punctured during installation, and a repair that took over 100 days and cost the homeowner money. These are issues to ask about, not a measure of how often they happen. Ask Creative Solar for a written install date.

How we picked these: the five newest 5-star and the five newest 1- or 2-star reviews with written text on Google and Trustpilot, as of October 2026 (98 reviews read, back to Jan 1, 2017). Each quote is one sentence, word for word. Picking the highest and lowest ratings shows the range of experiences; it is not a representative sample, and we did not verify what reviewers describe.
How much does Creative Solar USA cost?
Creative Solar USA does not publish a fixed system price; its FAQ gives only a broad typical range and says the price depends on usage, roof and equipment. Ask for an itemized quote showing the cash price, system size, equipment models and forecast production. Residential projects are cash only. For state price ranges, see our solar panel cost guide; for how the plans compare, see loans, leases and PPAs.
Cash purchase
You own itThe company says residential projects are cash only and it does not offer or arrange residential financing. You can still arrange your own loan.
Plans as stated in Creative Solar’s FAQ, read October 13, 2026. No loan, lease or PPA is offered for homes; for commercial projects it says it can sometimes help find third-party financing.
Creative Solar’s FAQ says it installs Tesla, Enphase, FranklinWH, Pytes, HomeGrid, Sol-Ark and other brands, matched to each job. Its battery page lists Tesla Powerwall, Enphase IQ Battery, HomeGrid, Sol-Ark, FranklinWH and Pytes. It says it is a Tesla and Enphase certified installer. It does not name a panel brand. Your written proposal should list the exact panel, inverter and battery models, the system size in kilowatts (kW) and the forecast yearly production in kilowatt-hours (kWh).

Company-published terms from Creative Solar’s FAQ, residential solar page and battery page, read October 13, 2026. Its website terms (read October 14, 2026) say manufacturer and workmanship warranties are described in your installation contract. Your signed agreement decides what applies.
The FAQ says warranties transfer to a new owner if you sell your home.
Where does Creative Solar USA operate, and which licenses were checked?
Creative Solar’s contact page and FAQ list Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Alabama. It says most projects are within one to three hours of its Kennesaw office and that it travels up to six hours for some projects (read October 13, 2026). A listed state does not mean every address qualifies or that EcoGen can connect you with Creative Solar there.

Licenses
We found no record under its name in North Carolina; ask for the license number. Check the license yourself under the exact business name on your contract. A license check confirms registration, not workmanship quality.

How we researched this profile
We read Creative Solar USA’s own pages on October 13, 2026: homepage, about, residential solar, battery storage, service and repair, FAQ and contact. On October 14, 2026 we read its commercial page and website terms, looked up its Georgia corporate record through OpenCorporates (the Georgia registry blocked our automated check) and looked up its Google Business listing. We did not check licenses in a state registry ourselves. We did not buy a system, request a quote, visit an office or interview customers. Creative Solar USA did not review this page.
Our installer methodology explains what we check.
