Spanning approximately 4,000 acres of tribal land, just nine miles south of Towaoc, the Sun Bear Solar Project will boast an impressive capacity of up to 971 megawatts. Stretching over eight miles in length and spanning one mile in width, the solar farm will be adorned with a staggering 2.2 million solar panels, harnessing the boundless power of the sun.

Partnering with the esteemed Canigou Group, a global leader in renewable energy development, tribal officials are meticulously planning every aspect of the Sun Bear project.
