Perched atop 7001 Quad Ave, the newly established solar array is one of 15 projects strategically positioned to cater to around 6,000 households in the Baltimore region. Community solar technology harnesses state-of-the-art solar panels, which are deployed on local farms or rooftops, to effectively convert sunlight into electricity. This clean, sustainable energy seamlessly integrates into the local electricity grid, offering Baltimore residents an opportunity to participate in the program and support the utilization of eco-friendly energy while also enjoying economic advantages.

"Community solar provides a compelling solution for residents within the BGE utility area who are eager to champion renewable energy but face limitations when it comes to installing solar panels on their rooftops."
